Our Business

We are a L'OREAL PROFESSIONNEL Concept Salon mastering in the art of Hair Coloring, Cutting, Styling, Relaxers and Hair Extensions. We inspire to keep our staff highly educated and believe in hands-on training for our assistants. We enjoy watching them develop into professionals and are proud to give them the opportunity to grow with us.

When you enter our salon you get a sense of Serenity. We offer a warm, cozy atmosphere and you are guaranteed to have a good laugh with our outgoing staff!

Who We Are

Angela Barbero has been in the beauty industry since 1978. She is the former owner of Vital Image in Holbrook and Sayville NY. This is where she met and trained Lisa-Ann. Nine years later, they formed their partnership. They have been through a lot of changes in the past years and have always stayed together as a family. They believe in keeping the salon comfortable and relaxing. The name Serenity comes from the Serenity prayer which means so much to both of them.

Angela and Lisa-Ann have a great team of stylists, assistants and salon coordinators, all trained and educated in their salon.

Alissa Swift is a Master Stylist. She has worked with Angela and Lisa-Ann since the beginning of her career. She specializes in hair coloring and the newest funky styles. Alissa loves to be creative and daring! Color your hair like a rainbow? No problem!

Marisol Arias masters in the art of hair coloring and cutting.She masters in a smart pixie cut and has a true eye for color. She is a great asset to our salon doing weaves like no one can! She is also our resident make-up artist.

Mallory Barbero -Redican is a Master Stylist, specializing in Brazilian relaxers and Hair Coloring and cutting. With hairdressing in her genes, she has worked in the field by Angela's side since she was 12yrs. old. She is always ready with a story and a smile and great advise about your hair!

Chris and Melissa are our salon coodinators who keep our salon running smoothly and professionally. They are always happy to be of assistance to our clients.

Angela Lanza is one of our junior stylists and  also our head assistant who works side by side with Lisa-Ann and Angela receiving hands on training everyday. She has a natural eye for color and can talk to you about hair 24/7.

Arielle is our newest assistant. She has an sweet smile and is always cheerful and helpful. She gives a great shampoo and is eager to learn . We look forward to further educating her in the field.

And then there is Lucy, our salon mascot. She is a 7yr old Jack Russell Terrier. Lucy loves to be a part of our salon. She greets our clients and always enjoys a nice petting.
